Why?
Yi Long - You need more than just a gold account to play the game you just bought online, lol.
Microsoft obviously don't think online gaming is something that should be intrinsically free - I'm not so sure that's ridiculous and greedy.
Tokugawa - you know you're right, I jumped into this after reading the "bent over the desk" comments and feel like I've been properly trolled.
You're not paying for something you can get elsewhere for free.
There's no other way to play Halo 4 online, or Gears of War 3, Crackdown, Forza 4, Jutekki etc.
That's worth the £30 to a great many people.
I take your point, you don't object to the particular cost but simply the fact of being charged at all to play online.
That's all Xbox gold gets you, right?
So you won't be playing it then? Ah well, sorry about that.
Just wondering how you plan to play Halo 4 online?
No-one's getting "bent over the desk" paying £3 a month to play videogames online.
If you can't afford that you're getting "bent over the desk" by life.
Yeah, ironically the whole "Mario has been milked dry" thing has now been milked dry.
Good call. Hopefully a sequel too one day, could work very well with a touch screen setup.
The new games all add new things, 2D and 3D series, to build on what is already a highly refined formula, always a pleasure to return to.
If you like hop-n-bop platformers you've got Nintendo's, Sega's and ... ... ... the indie junk?
Excellent, but where's KZ Liberation HD at?
Oui U. Le day one.
That's all I need, let's go!
Yeah dude, fo' realz.
I don't think Platinum could make a bad game if they tried, lol.
Looks fantastic.
I wouldn't be upset if some of these end up becoming next gen titles and it could make for a really strong start. Ryse looks to be another one.
Didn't feel like clicking through all those pages but Nintendo Land, Wario, Tank! Tank! Tank! and NSMB U should all be multiplayer crackers.
Modern gaming basically is 'easy mode', what with health regeneration, infinite lives and checkpoints every other step it's near impossible to fail at anything.
This happens at the same moment Achievements and the term 'hardcore' become popular, those crafty developers!
It's an awesome name, so's Revengeance.
The launch window lineup is phenomenal for Wii U, the day one slate should not disappoint.
I think the console will be a hit, it might not be as eye catching as Wii but the gamepad has the appearance of "iPad meets DS" and that should draw people in.
Trying to coax other users into attacking my bubbles is probably in itself the most immature thing I've seen on here.
People can make their own mind up if they think my comment was "immature" without you whispering in their ear, thanks.
Meanwhile I'll await an answer for my question - why are we continuing to see this influx of amaturish, bare-bones, pointless, backward-ass 'art games' cluttering up our consoles?
